NOTE: If a 65-year-old Australian woman can do this (below), then
why can't more of us??REPLY to "THE SEARCH for HUNGER"
-by Sylvia S.Dear Andrew,
This is a sad fact about the Western World.
I find myself going back to Africa and Asia time after time and find
it so hard to live back here in Australia.
I am almost 65 and have been to Africa 4 times, even lived there
amongst the people in a very remote village.
The Philippines is also very hungry and I will be going back for my
third mission in October, then back to Africa. It was good to read your email and know that others agree.
I was in England for 9 months in 2003 on a working holiday visiting
my family. None of them were interested in the things of God and
only one person came to salvation while I was there. I hope that
the seeds I planted will one day spring forth into salvation for my
family. My heart breaks for the African people who think they have nothing
yet know their spiritual poverty and are crying out for help. I can't
wait to get back there at the end of the year and continue to bring
in the harvest....-Sylvia.
