A CALL to GATHER - Please Reply?
-Andrew Strom.I have heard there are people coming from far and wide to the
Outdoor "GATHERING" that we are holding on 3-4 July near
Kansas City. But I really want to put out a renewed "CALL" to
everyone on this List to consider coming along. -Even if you
had something else planned that you "normally" do over
Independence Weekend, please PRAY and ask God if He
might want you to come. I just feel that it may be an important
gathering "for such a time as this" and I would hate for anyone
to later regret that they had not attended. There is something
in the air - something new that God is doing this year, I believe.
We have been holding outdoor prayer meetings at that park in
Blue Springs, and we sense something quite special about the
place and also the timing of this event. The prayer meetings
have been particularly precious times with God.SPEAKERS - Topics
Personally, I believe that two of the topics I need to preach on
that weekend are "The Elijahs of God" and "The Coming Revival
and Great Shaking".I also know that one of the things Bryan Hupperts will be speaking
on is "The Wilderness Experience" - which he is surely qualified
to speak about from a very personal perspective. He has many
insights in this area. And we have another speaker confirmed now - brother Lawrence
Banda (ex-Zambia in Africa). God brought him to this nation
miraculously with no money at all (-even for the plane flight) and
he preaches on Revival and prayer. For the past 18 months his
prayer group has held 6:00am prayer meetings 5 days a week,
and God is truly moving.Of course, this Gathering is not just about the speakers - it is
about fellowshipping and confirming with others the things that
God has been speaking to your heart. There will be ample
opportunity to meet and fellowship with other like-minded people
from your region.PLEASE REPLY to this email if you are thinking of attending,
my friends? (If you cannot make it then we would sure appreciate
your prayers).Nearby Camping Grounds:
Somebody asked me if there are places for Camping, and so I have
included that information below, along with the motels and hotels.
Remember, there are JUST TWO WEEKS to go to this event, so
you need to reserve your rooms or camping sites NOW if you wish
to attend. (-The phone numbers for Reservations are all below). Here are the details for the whole event:
