Just ordered a Washburn DK20 CET. It was a blem from Same Day Music...got it for $149 about $50 off the reg. price.

Bought the Applause AE 128 yesteday from Musicians Friend. Also a blem, got it for around $130. Was able to get it in Black, the color I really wanted too. Took advantage of the $12 year extra coverage.

So, I hope to be set up with a shallow body and something more wooden.

I wound up going a few dollars over what I had originally allowed myself to spend, but hopefully got two guitars that will turn out to be good for what I want.

Now, to become an actual player instead of someone who just knows chords.
