I'm getting the next
Hope Chest e-magazine ready to send, but in the meantime, I have a
few other announcements!
I
just realized that when I sent out the book
orders announcement
a little bit ago that I neglected to mention that all profits from
the Learner's Journal will again be used to bless Malawian pastor
Rev. Headson Makazinga. Specifically, he just sent me 8 handwritten
pages of a Chichewa language gospel tract to type, print hundreds of
copies, and ship back to him for distribution in the villages of
Malawi and Mozambique. I produced a similar tract for him many years
ago. I found it rather challenging since I it's really hard to
proofread in a language you can't read at all. (“Dziwani
kuti kumwamba ndi dziko lapansi kulibe wina woposa Ambuye wathu Yesu
Khristu.”)
Of course, I had to turn off spell check! But we eventually did get
it done, with back and forth mailings of proofreading copies and
corrections. I've lost track of how many I've sent to him, but it's
into the thousands. Any excess profits beyond the tract costs will

Do
you have a set of the Notgrass Exploring World History curriculum
(three books plus quiz/test book and answer key) or the Apologia Chemistry
DVD's that you want to sell? I need these! Let me know if you have
them for a reasonable price. I have a bid in on eBay for the
Notgrass stuff, but I'm not sure that deal is going to go through, so
my husband asked me to see if any of you has these! So far, I've
been able to buy a few things used off of Amazon, and some friends
have very kindly donated a few things I need that they aren't using
anymore. I also just ordered some curriculum from a lady who listed
on http://www.HomeSchoolClassifieds.com.
It was really, really easy and I got a great deal on some text
books.
Are
you interested in a low-cost alternative to health insurance?

have been members for over 8 years and have been very satisfied.
They cover costs for any illnesses or injuries over a $300 per
incident deductible. I am so glad we had SM coverage when I went
into the hospital four weeks ago with heart attack symptoms. (See:

The original bill was well over $20,000. Fortunately, Florida
Hospital gives a whopping 75% self-pay discount if you pay right
away, but that still left several thousand plus the other physician
fees. I'm sure glad we don't have to pay all of that right now! If

as a reference, and our family will get a credit on our next monthly
