A man could quickly lose his faith, to know
The world is full of wicked knaves and fools;
To keep us from despairing here below,
The truth that God from heaven loves and rules,
His perfect plan will reach its timely end,
So righteous zeal for justice never cools—
To hades' gates the eyes of God extend.
