The Christian call to evangelism is a call not simply to persuade people to make decisions but rather to proclaim to them the Good News of salvation in Christ, to call them to repentance, and to give God the glory for regeneration and conversion. We don’t fail in our evangelism if we faithfully present the Gospel and yet the person is not converted; we fail only if we don’t faithfully present the Gospel at all.

Dear Bible Notes Subscribers,
 
This a short note to let you know that the Bible Note Writer (me) is still alive and kicking.
 
My wife and I are in the midst of trying to buy a house. It is a fairly trying experience. We are looking forward to the Lord's will and the soon resolution of the matter. 🙂
 
Your prayers are much appreciated at this time.
 
I will try to get Bible Notes going again soon, or at least once we have gotten relatively settled into our new (new to us anyway) house.
