A problem a List member is having...

I'm having a problem opening the messages. I am getting them as an attachment, and the 'message list' comes in notepad which I am able to read, the others come in a format our computer says I have no file to open the selected item with. Is each post supposed to come across as a separate attachment? I click the attachment icon, and have a string of them -

Do any of you have an answer? I receive mine seperate.....any advice for this user would be appreciated.
