It is a desire to get some online action from the publisher. Trust it is
considered not to be off topic - Thanks And, BTW there is one book listed
that might peak someones interest as the review indicates that the
setting is in Israel around the Dead Sea and another Sea also. Here is something I want you to read and send a letter to
[email protected]
. Please write a letter to this publisher, after going to the sites
below, and ask why you can't read the excerpt of Winnie The Lost Right Whale. Go
there and see what I'm talking about.
My friend Pat is the illustrator of this book and the publisher has
been dragging their feet about it for 3 months.
After you send your letter, ask all the people you know to check out
the site and send a letter, also.
Here is the letter I got from Pat,
Love,Ruth> Dear Friends,
To those of you that took the time to write a note to Hardshell, I
thank you very much. It actually woke them up. All of the sudden they
responded to the author about the contract and other important things they have
misplaced or lost. They are now going to send a draft copy of the book to Linda,
which they should have done 3 to 4 months ago. I still get no correspondence
from them, myself. I just want this to come to a completion. I want to see
it alive. Heck, I don't even know what the pages of the book will look like,
if they used all of my illustrations or which ones they used. Seeing the
excerpt would give all of us an idea what we're buying. SOOOOOOOO....If you can have your friends,(or your other screen names), write them and
ask about the book, the author, illustrator, see an excerpt of it. Let them
know how annoying it is to click on the book and nothing happens. The more, the
merrier.
Here is a link to the site's home page <A

Electronic Books . From here you go to children and young adults. Go to the
bottom, Winnie is there, but you can't open it. Here's something to complain
about.
On the Home page, you can click on New Releases, look for Winnie... and
you will get this page. Winnie the
Lost Right Whale - Eighmy & . Here it says it's available to buy, but
no information at all. Help me to get this book out to the world. The more
people who write, the more fire they will feel.
