A Very Special Invitation

Posted by: bneumann848 <bneumann848@...>

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you,
whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine,
you did for me.’ (Matthew 25:40 NIV)

Please allow me to introduce you to a very
special organization which I am personally acquainted with and personally
support. Harvest Now is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preaching
the gospel, training and supporting local missionaries, encouraging local
pastors, establishing churches, providing bibles and caring for orphans. Their
work is focused in the countries of Asia (India, China, Cambodia, Vietnam,
Thailand and others).

(There are other organizations with the same
name which I cannot vouch for. Please use this link to ensure you have reached the right place.)

A project especially dear to my heart is
the Asansol Children’s Home, one of Harvest Now’s orphanages in India. Their
building is currently requiring repairs and expansion is needed to be able to provide
a loving home for more children. This project is scheduled to begin just after
the first of the year and is not yet fully funded.

To read more about the work of Harvest Now and
find out how you can help, I encourage you to click on the link above and pray
about your part in helping these precious people. You can provide a bible for a
new believer for $2.50. Twenty dollars will buy clothes and shoes for an
orphaned child. Thirty dollars a month will provide an orphan with three meals
a day, a home, an education and the opportunity to know Christ. Fifty dollars
will support a full-time missionary for one month. A hundred dollars will give
a missionary a bicycle so that he can take the gospel to distant villages. (All
amounts are US dollars). You can designate what your gift will be used for. Click
on the Orphans tab to learn more about the Asansol Children’s Home.

Now how can they call on one in whom they
have never believed? How can they believe in one of whom they have never heard?
And how can they hear unless someone proclaims him? And who will go to tell
them unless he is sent? As the scripture puts it: ‘How beautiful are the feet
of those who preach the Gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good
things!’ (Romans 10:14-15 Phillips)

God is moving in these nations and multitudes
are coming to Christ. You can be part of what God is doing today and together
we can lay up precious treasure in heaven which cannot decay or be stolen
(Matthew 6:19-21).
