{ADMIN} news readers for the list && viruses

Associate.com is working on a upgrade that will allow userid/password
access to the list archives so that you can read/post using a news
reader. This should make it much easier for those hampered by Outlook to
read the list. I've signed up as an early adopter for the upgrade. I'll
let you know more details as you get them.On the subject of viruses, I've pinged the system admin about whether they
filter viruses on incoming/outgoing mail. I did NOT get a warning from our
email virus scanner about any mail from ChurchBass so I'm not sure what is
going on. I use a pretty thorough virus scanner (MailScanner with Sophos
and ClamAV) and the double file extension filter should have caught it even
if the attachment itself was harmless. I'm continuing to follow up on
this, though.tv
