Welcome Molly, it isn't always this quiet in this list. I am sure everyone has been busy lately. It sounds like you really have your foot in the door of homesteading. Good for you! Hello! My name is Molly. I joined several days ago and decided it
was time to introduce myself. I am a mother of four, wife of almost
16 years. We would like to homestead some day. In fact, we are
thinking of straw-bale building or even finding a stone barn and
refurbishing it into a home. I have canned in the past but the last
couple of years haven't had the time or resources to to that. I sure
enjoy canning though. I recently learned to spindle spin and have
been having a grand time making my own yarn from raw fleeces. I've
noticed this is a large but very quiet group. I'm sure everyone is
busy on a homestead, but I would love to hear about a typical day for
you. Thank you.
