Hi Everyone,
I wanted to write and let all of you know that my husband and I just came
back last weekend from three weeks in Alaska. We went and visited our son and
daughter-in-law and grandson, William. We had a wonderful time and praise
God for the chance to visit. We stayed in Tom and Rachel's tiny little
efficiency apartment. 🙂 We thank them for their hospitality and never
really felt too cramped!! We were supposed to have stayed only two weeks but
our flight was canceled and the next available flight was a week later. We
praise God that we were with family.
Rachel, William and I were able to spend a day with Tammy and her family.
We saw her new baby, Hudson and met her wonderful family. I can't express
how wonderful and sweet her girls were. Tammy and the girls made us feel
right at home. I was able to taste some of their goat's milk (my first time
tasting it), I thought it was really good. She sent us home with some fresh
eggs and homemade honey oatmeal soap. Tammy was as sweet and wonderful as
could be. I wish everyone on the list could spend a day with her and her
family. They have a wonderful quiet place up in the mountains. A great place
to raise a large family.
William is our first (of many, Lord willing) grandchild and what a
privilege to have spent three weeks with him. I love being a grandmother and
have found that you do love them just like I did his dad, my son. God has
truly blessed us. 🙂 Love, Karen Savannah
