Let's start an archive of amps and effects settings and how and when you use them. It seems to me that this would be very valuable for young players. So, I'll start it off... my trusted amp models on my XTLive are:1968 Marshall Plexi Jump Lead (haven't found one that sounds like it on the HD)
Drive: 7.5
Bass: 4
Mid: 6
Treb: 9.2ish
Presence: 8
Volume (channel): 8Tube Screamer:
Drive: 80%
Gain: 40% (for a slight increase in volume when I kick it on)
Tone: 50% (to be perfectly truthful, my ears can't hear the difference with this one)Noise gate: (just played with this a bunch until something sounded decent)
Threshold: -80 dB
Decay: 50%Rat distortion:
Drive: 80%
Gain: 60% (for a slight *decrease* in volume when I kick it on)
