An e-card and a word of encouragement

Dear Hope Chest friends,I tried sending this e-card to you via the Home School E-Cards
web site, but I don't think it worked. Just click on this link to see it
instead:
www.homeschoolecards.com/pickup/?id=2004124406t2e&s=1Please be aware that many moms ARE very discouraged right now.
Beyond the daily hassles of life, there are families suffering from deep
trials. I found out a little bit ago that one of our Hope Chest readers,
who has a large blended family, is grieving the tragic loss of her son a
few days ago. Take a few minutes to think of your friends and loved ones
who might be going through a hard time, and reach out to someone who
might need a little sunshine. Even reach out to strangers, whether they
seem discouraged or not. I like to talk with people in the grocery store
checkout lines. That's how I first met the dear mom whose son died on
Thursday. We never know what acquaintances God will bring us through a
little friendliness. My dear Aunt Nancy called me this morning after she read the Hope
Chest to say how much she liked this issue, especially a particular
article. That was so sweet of her, and a big encouragement to me.It only takes a minute to add some cheer to someone else's day.
Despite the holiday season, cheer isn't automatic. That's one reason
we're here for each other, to bear one another's burdens, just as He came
to do for us.Blessings,
Virginia Knowles
