I Do think that there is a conflict often betwee
modern scienTISTS and Christianity, because many of
them seek to use the limited scope of science to
answer questions that only theology should be
answering. But as Galileo said, we have two books,
the one of nature, from which we study science, and
the one of revelation, from which we deride out
theology. Or, to put it in Romans terms, there is
general revelation (which sceince seeks to understand)
and special revelation (which theology seeks to understand),S.D.G.
