Dear Heart to Heart ladies,

The next newsletter will be sent in a few days, but for now, I have an announcement to make - one many of you have been waiting to hear!  For those of you who do not have the Internet, I hope you will be able to have a sneak peek at a friend's home of at your local library!

 

My prayer continues to be that the Lord will be honored and glorified through Heart to Heart - through the newsletters as well as through the blogs, as we begin our thirteenth year in a few days!

I would love to have your feedback about the blogs!   Please just reply to this newsletter, so your e-mail will come directly to me.  My e-mail address is also on the "Contact" page on the main blog.

 

THE MAIN BLOG

The main blog includes contents from past newsletters.  Most of the contents from the last two years of newsletters have been posted.  With twelve years of information available, I've begun going way back to other years and posting some from the earlier Heart to Heart information as well.

Categories List (in alphabetical order).  This will help you find what you're interested in. 

Search Bar (on the top left of the page)  This can help in locating specific information as well.

Music is a special added feature which will be changed from time to time.  You can go down to the photos and choose what you want to hear, or just turn up the volume and listen as you browse.

Photography, a hobby I enjoy, is included along the side bar and you will find lots more photos at the bottom, ending with the sunset.  I've included photography from all seasons, including Christmas, since there is a good bit of information on the blog for that holiday, as well as seasons throughout the year. 

Tabs or Pages (across the top, just under the picture of fruits and vegetables)  The tabs include:

ADDITIONAL NOTES ABOUT THE BLOGS

For the Kids' Quotes, also known as Precious Gems, only the first names and states will be posted.  If anyone sends me other information for possibly being added to the newsletter and blog, please tell me if you do not want your last name included.

Why heartfilledhome?  I was unable to use "Heart to Heart" in the link in any form, with it being used already.  If you forget the link, just remember the words, "heart" and "home" are both singular, with the word "filled" in the middle.   (heart filled home) .blogspot.com - all one word, of course.  My friend, Carolyn, came up with this name and I think it explains quite well the goal of Heart to Heart - for our home to be filled with love!

A GREAT BIG "THANK YOU" GOES TO MY BLOG ANGELS! 

They taught me all I've ever known about blogging!  They have walked me through with hands-on help as well as over-the-phone assistance.  I couldn't have done it without them!

Nina Graffs in Wisconsin was the one to get me started.  She is the one responsible for the beautiful bleeding hearts photograph in the header of the main blog, as well as helping with the lovely pink and green template, which I love! 

Carolyn Cyphers in Virginia gave me lots of help in many areas - the music in the form of Playlist, teaching me how to post articles and photos, and so much more!

Deborah Campbell in Virginia spent a couple long evenings with me on the phone, working through issues with the blog!

Meagan DeLong in North Carolina encouraged me along the way, and her second blog (recipes) was a great help!

John Breneman, my dear husband of almost forty-three years, who told me early on that he knew nothing about blogs, sat down with me and patiently figured out several big problems in the last several days!

Virginia Knowles in Florida, who is very knowledgeable about blogs, was a tremendous help in many areas, as our e-mails flew back and forth!  She also did hands-on work, and helped put the finishing touches on the blogs.

Virginia asks for prayer for two of her daughters.  I don't normally post prayer requests from everyone with so many subscribers, and so little space, but I can't turn down a "Blog Angel," now can I?  So here is the prayer request:

Two of my daughters, Rachel (20) and Joanna (18) are flying to Italy for 
three months on Wednesday, February 2. They will be helping our 
missionary friends Lee and Jeannette Walti teach English as a gospel 
outreach in the town of Chiavari on the northwest coast. Please pray for 
traveling mercies and spiritual growth for the girls, and for Lee Walti's 
health since he has been having respiratory problems. The girls will be 
writing about their adventure at www.abbondanzadivita.blogspot.com
