another prayer request and info

This morning, my male kitten, Archie, was bit by a fox on my back porch,
about 2 feed from the house. I heard what sounded like a cat fight, looked
out and a fox was standing on the porch, Archie ran up the garage steps and
the fox went to follow him, I opened the back door and the fox turned and
started walking towards me. I shut the door and called my dh, and the fox
disappeared before I got back. I found archie and noticed small amount of
blood on his leg and of course before I thought, I had touched a spot on his
leg that was bleeding. The vet was positive the fox had rabies and that I
needed to keep archie quarentined. She really scared me when she asked if I
had touched him, and told me to wash my hands really well (the vet called 3
hrs after it happened). I have no idea what I did after I picked up the cat,
I did lock him in the laundry room, but I can't remember if I immediately
washed my hands or if I took a shower first. Would you all please pray that
first, archie will not get rabies, he had his first shot in August. and
second that I;m not exposed. Does anyone know just how contagous rabies is?
