APOLOGY - "SINLESS" Topic
-Andrew Strom.I must make an apology this morning.
However, I cannot retract a single word of what I wrote yesterday
about living an inwardly "clean" life - and walking in it. To me,
when I read Romans 5 - 8, it glares out to me as the most obvious
truth, and I live and walk in it every day by God's grace. I see
nothing remotely startling or unusual about it at all. -It is the
"normal Christian life".But I do need to apologise for any misunderstanding or
confusion that resulted from these articles. Some people took
things out of them that are a world away from what was intended.
To me it is all so simple, and I must admit I wept last night that
even "spiritual" people can find it so hard to see these things.
It is heart-breaking, because there is such liberty and power in
these simple truths. How I wish I could explain it better.I have come to the conclusion that 'preaching' really is the only
effective way to communicate this topic. When I preach on it,
I usually have 50 minutes or more to develop it properly and
place stress on the right things, etc. A lot of the 'confusion' is
taken out of it, and I have seen it impact audiences very powerfully.
Perhaps I am simply not capable of explaining it properly in
printed form. So I do apologise to those who found the whole
thing perplexing and hard to understand. For those who are still interested, I highly recommend that you
listen to the sermon, "ARE YOU WALKING IN ROMANS 8??"
which is at the right on our website- www.revivalschool.comIt may be that 'preaching' is the only real way that I am going to
be able to address this topic. -Makes me sad, but oh well!My apologies too that there are 5 postings coming out this week,
my friends. -Unusually high. Next week we will have to put out
only 3 to make up for it.Sorry for the misunderstanding, once again.
God bless you all,
Andrew Strom.
