APOLOGY to THE EAST COAST - Andrew Strom

Some people are perplexed why we are only getting as far East
as Ohio - and holding no meetings on the actual East Coast at all.
I want to get to the reason for this in a moment. But first, I just
want to say how excited I have been to see the way God is moving
in America this time around. Last week in Western Wisconsin
during our first meetings on American soil in almost 2 years, we
saw a large number of people repenting and deeply surrendering
to God - and the second night 12 (mostly young) people got baptized
in the hotel pool (-including some who made up their mind at the
last minute and got in fully clothed!!) Several also got filled with
the Holy Spirit for the first time. Praise God!! I really sense that
something has changed since I was last in the USA.
But now onto the reasons for our lack of Eastern meetings. The
main over-riding reason is that basically we can only hold meetings
where we are invited. It is certainly nothing personal! There were
a few enquiries from the East Coast, but nothing much more than
that. So it ends up that we begin in WI, OH, and MI - then straight
down after New Year's to St Louis, Memphis and right across the
Southern States from Florida to Texas, up the West Coast and
into Canada. It just all fell into place that way - and we simply had
no firm invitations from the East - apart from Ohio. So I am very
sorry if we have offended anyone, or appeared to be excluding a
significant part of the country. It was not deliberate, believe me!
But hopefully we can get back there at some future time.
If Eastern people can make it to Ohio for our meetings there with
David Servant, we would love to see you. I believe it will be a
blessed time in the Lord. Below (once again) is our published
itinerary - starting with our Appleton WI meetings that begin tonight:
