Beautiful Day

Its a beautiful morning out. I can see the sun rising. Naomi on the other hand is bound and determined to be a grouch today. She hurt her big toe last night and we wrapped it in a cool washcloth and put a sock on it all night...just to see if it was still swollen and if it was broken this morning. No broken bone and it is no longer swollen. She's fine. Just a mild sprain. She keeps insisting she can't walk on it to school...oh pooh! I told her I would walk with her to school this morning but she was indeed going to school! I'll just make sure she is wearing good shoes and that she doesn't do anything silly or stupid on the playground today. I can't wait until sunday when I go get her a decent pair of tennis shoes. All the others she has are sandals with thick heels...not exactly my cup of tea.
On the other hand, I've been working on a christmas tag swap...I'm a stamper and its almost done....just gotta add the finishing touches to that later this morning and then mail those out. And then I will tackle the kitchen and do some other chores around here today. I might even start cleaning up a bit in preparation to starting to put stuff in storage tomorrow night.
Its gonna be the start of a long busy weekend . However, I'm looking forward to it.
