BEWARE! Wimple Crocheters!

I started crocheting a wimple yesterday. I got a nice fall colored, variegated yarn and just plunged into it. Alas, I was not aware of the danger that lurked nearby.

I settled into my rocker with my feet propped comfortably on the glider ottoman and rocked and crocheted and rocked and crocheted. When I went to get up and hour later, my knee was hurt! I thought it was just twisted and stiff. Noooooooooooo!

I got up this morning and it was worse! Went to the doc this afternoon. Its a muscle strain. Will be well soon.

He asked how I hurt it. I told him that its a crocheting injury. HEHEHEHEHE! He laughed too! As a matter of fact, he continued laughing until I left. He said, "Its my old crocheting injury bothering me." It is so funny!!!!!!

So beware dear ladies! That crochet knee can be fairly painful and certainly inconvenient!
