The problem is that many people cling to the symbol but never understand the reality it is intended to represent. Most likely, tens of thousands of people have 'invited Christ into [their] hearts,' thinking that a mystical experience is what saves them. Then, they go on their merry way, living their lives as they did before. If you were to ask them, 'How do you know that you are going to heaven?' they would respond, 'Because I invited Christ into my heart.' But if you probe, there is nothing beneath the shallowness of that reply. They did what someone told them to do, but never really embraced the Savior.

Okay, so where do you get your books? Do most of you use the public library
a lot? Do you purchase a few books, some books, or a LOT of books? (I
confess to be in the last category ).

And if you buy them, where do you get them - online bookseller, in a local
Christian bookstore, half.com, Ebay, or ??

If you're looking for good deals online, be sure to check out the following
website:

bestbookbuys.com

They have about 30 different online bookstores that they collect information
from. When you type in an author, a title, or an ISBN number,
bestbookbuys.com goes to work and gives you a list of stores that carry your
book. You get the price of the book, availability, shipping cost for what
kind of shipping, total cost, etc. It's an EXCELLENT website and does a real
service to all us readers!! If Half.com has a book listed, it will show up
there. However, you'll need to search Ebay separately. BookCloseOuts.com is
a great source of Christian books at LOW prices also. And then there's
Christianbook.com (another store that BestBookBuys.com gets info from) which
was originally just the CBD catalog.
