Car Wash

Brother Gene,
I would agree with Brian's look at this whole dilemma.
There is a difference in accepting a gift from a car wash, than from the proceeds of the Clubs business. This may just be the first baby step toward Christ - sometimes we must reach-out to help them keep balance. We are after all God's physical hands here on earth.
1. The car wash must be promoted for sole purpose of giving to the poor.
2. The Club's holds sole responsibility
a. Provides a neutral site
b. Provides own supplies
c. Provides own help
d. Provides own advertising
3. At the point of transaction You designate:
a. the Time
b. the Place
c. the Dress code
d. the Attendees
e. Etc.
4. If you do not have control - get away from the whole situation as gracefully as possible. Leave the door open for the possibility for future opportunities, they may just decide to comply after they have time for consideration.
We do not have to agree with anything they do, say, or think. But, we still have to love them because they too are children of God. We have to work outside the box to make every effort to provide an example of God's love without compromising the Gospel.
