Character Land of Origin

If it is a LightRaider, yes. But the question is a bit misleading. Characters can have histories in the Dragon Lands initially, becoming TwiceBorn, then moving to the Liberated Land (ala any one of numerous raids) where they can eventual go into LightRaider training.

So, no, a LightRaider character does not have to be born in the Liberated Land. No matter what, to become a LightRaider, somewhere along the line the character has to move to the LL as there is no LightRaider Academy in the Dragon Lands.

I suppose that you could play a Once Born for a while, adventuring in the Dragon Lands, with the goal of it becoming redeemed and then moving to the LL.

Since we discussing other lands, a Once Born could conceivably come from a land from far over the ocean. You just have to come up with a way of getting the RaidTeam to him or vice versa.
