I have a Seagull AE...they have a variety of price points mine was in the middle at $600.00 but they have cheaper models.

Our guitarist in the worship trio is leaving with his dad to do a plant. I have been "asked" to step up and fill his place. I'm not a very good player, but i'm sure inspired to work at it now. I know lots of chords but not really how to make music on my own. I've played drums for nearly 40 years and been around guitarists lots of that time (how do you think I learned those chords?),

Well, I want to get away from the Epiphone Les Paul 100 I have (used to love blues and metal) and go for an acoustic-electric. Well, I did make a purchase yesterday on Musician's Friend. Got an Applause AE 128 Blem in black (the color I wanted) for $130 or so. I had tried an Ovation Celebrity last Saturday and it was SO great...however, the guy priced it at $300 and my budget was about half that....ha!

Now i'd like to get another A/E guitar. Just for backup or variety...a bigger body style...probably wouldn't even mind a natural finish now that I have the black one I really wanted... I'm looking at some things on eBay, but am open (at least for now...of course i'm going to try to keep the price as low as possible....

Any suggestions?

Thanks...

How are the baritones tuned? I wouldn't want to learn where all the
notes are all over again. That's why I don't mess with non-standard
tunings, either.

I think it is a really fair price. I've had a couple of people e-mail
me today for pics, so who knows.
