amp update and guitar question

Um, I think I found the problem. It seems to have to do with a cable I
picked up cheap at Mars Music (before it closed). I bypassed everything
and plugged the Strat directly to the amp using a good cable and harsh tone
was gone. Nothing but pure sweet and clear Strat tone.
Time to buy a Monster Cable I guess...
