bass bridges

Douglas:

I always thought that was a bad choice of name for a great bridge, so I
never got one either. You could try grinding off the lettering, I guess.

As to pickups, it just so happens that I use passive whenever possible. I'm
a firm believer in K.I.S.S. I believe that EMG makes passive pickups also.
If not, look for Seymour Duncan or DiMarzio.
