Disobedient Classic 20

I've been pretty busy at work lately (glad to have a job), so I
haven't jumped in on any discussions here lately.I had a peavey tube amp that had a similar problem. I resoldered
the input jacks, and fiddled with the tubes. Just when I thought it
was okay, it'd fail again. Very frustrating. I bought it used on
ebay. Probably would not buy another used amp on ebay. I traded it
for a new classic 30. No more problems. My old 79-80 musicman quit about a year or 2 ago. Took it to a tech and
he replaced all the capacitors. It has been great since. He also had
the test equipment to check the output power, noise levels, etc.Unless you or a friend have the right test equipment and skills, I'd take
it to a tech. I'd be careful selecting a tech, check your local music
stores for the techs they use.Good luck with your disobedient amp.
