Kevin,It is not unusual for any guitar to need a setup at this time of year
(assuming you, like me, are in a climate where you're now transitioning
from dry winter air to moist, humid summer air). I have a hygrometer in
the room where I keep my guitars, and in the last month it's gone from
about 35% humidity to 61%. This sort of change can shift your neck to
the point where your strings start buzzing.Between $20 and $40 for a good setup at your local guitar shop should
fix your problem.Anthony

Subject: [ChristianGuitar] fretsI mentioned recently that my electric sounds like a sitar at some of the
frets. The guitar is only 4 years old. Is this normal? How long
should frets last?By the way, my electric has been in the case unused for a month or so.
I just got it out last night, plugged it in and only had to slightly
adjust the tuning on the high E string. I had played it for over 2
hours before I put it in the case. Not bad for a guitar I only have
$450 in including case and new pickups. Cheap guitars rock! (except for
the worn fret thing)Peace
