New hoss in the stable

When it comes to electric guitar, I've been mostly playing a beautiful Korina Warmoth Strat the last while. An excellent guitar, but not really my style. I also have a modded Ibanez archtop, which is a decent, but not really pro-quality instrument.

I recently decided to downsize my rather sprawling gear collection, to simplify my life and put some $$$ back into the family coffers. In the process, I saw an opportunity to take some of the money that was generated, and get an electric that was more my cup of tea.

I started out thinking in terms of a $1,000 used Tele, maybe a G&L ASAT, but in the end, I got sidetracked by a beautiful lady.
