Clicker

Got a problem! I've been asked to find a solution, so I'm turning to y'all.
My church has a rather large auditorium (seats around 800, is probably 200'
long). We have a computer connected to an attached-to-the-ceiling
projector for displaying words to songs, missionary updates, etc. Works
well -- that's not the problem!
Frequently we have speakers who are showing a presentation (generally
PowerPoint) and would like to have control of the advancement of the slides
at the pulpit. Wireless would be best, though (with great difficulty) we
could run a wire. The best radio-controlled "clicker" I can find is the
Logitech Trackman Live. I've used this personally in several applications,
but the manufacturer only claims it'll reach 30 feet. Woefully too short
of a range!
Any ideas?
