Correction to Hope Chest

If you've already read the issue I sent out today, you've probably
guessed that the year in my footnote to the last article is a little
"off" -- by 20 years to be exact. I met Thad at Northland in 1984, not
2004! Not that this matters any! It all happens when my fingers type
faster than my brain thinks, which happens pretty often...
I should also mention that it is my daughter Rachel's 14th birthday
today! We celebrated at lunch with beef stew (one of our traditional
birthday dinners) and cherry cheese cake. Naomi's 4th birthday is on
Tuesday, and Ben's 2nd birthday is next Sunday, so we've got a whole lot
of partying to do this month. The little guys keep trying to get me to
blow up balloons for them, but that is beyond my realm of capability.
I'm not the omni-competent mom, I guess.
