couple of questions for Pat Lockwood regarding simple living

Hi Pat,
I enjoyed your post about simple living, about the things you don't and do
have. Have you lived in a similar fashion throughout your married life or
did you change your lifestyle to a simpler one? We have achieved some of the
same things you have, dishwasher died and I don't want to replace, use
mostly wood heat, have a dryer but rarely use it. We're also working on the
biggies now, paying off the mortgage and the one credit card. I don't like
most "conveniences", especially ones that use electricity, but dh likes
"his" microwave. Does your hubby work away from your home? Did you find that
you both reached decisions at the same time or where there differences in
goals, options, and methods in your pursuit of a simpler life? My dh and I
are in agreement about most things, there's a few things that the Lord will
have to lead him or me to change our views about. Oh, thanks for the muffin
help....I can't wait to bake some of those for my family. Blessings in Him,
