>I do want to read the Seasons books (when?!), but the Boss Lady in charge of
our church library (I get the privilege of shopping for most of the books
that we buy - we spend about $2,500 a year) said that Dana's Valley is
"depressing". Now I'm not sure if she read it, or just read what it's about.
This gal and I have some fundamentally different opinions about the church
library and I struggle with negative feelings about her sometimes. 🙁 She's
very much wanting books that will circulate and doesn't like non-fiction
(which is what I read mostly) and wants to stay away from "icky topics".
Anyway, I do enjoy being able to shape at least somewhat what's in the church
library!Susan
