This is from Mrs. Dariel-aka Diana. Hey, folks who got a copy of
the play-how about sending us some stamps so we could mail newsletters or
Christmas cards? Times are pretty tough here, and stamps are one thing
we are completely out of. We have not been able to replenish the
computer toner either, so copying a newsletter will require some cash,
but I could hand write some Christmas letters.
Our daughter's car threw a rod an hour north of Dodge City, an
hour east of Garden City, KS before Thanksgiving. We had to junk the
car, a Subaru. We had to wait weeks earlier for simple parts, and
storage for a month or two while waiting for another engine for a $1,500
car, plus finding someone willing to install it for a reasonable price,
did not make much sense. A guy offered to tow it to Pueblo for $500,
which didn't seem too smart either. Now we need to find another vehicle
for her, for $1,000 or less, and we request prayer to that end. I
left her on foot, living ten miles from Sterling College, Sunday night,
with promises of rides to class for the rest of the term .
I again discussed allowing others to see the ancient video of the
play, with the young adults we are in regular cantact with, who were in
it. A couple weakened a little bit on their stand about not consenting
for it to be seen, if the price of $100 per actor per viewing were
guaranteed. : ) They both needed money pretty badly.
May you all be able to have a few minutes of this season when you
can experience the awesomeness of the incarnation. Secondly, I pray that
you have a day or two of rest between Christmas and New Years, without
having to be sick in bed in order to rest.Mrs. Dariel the Aged
