Christians are not to take other Christians to worldly courts. When we put ourselves under the authority of the world in this way, we confess that we do not have right actions and right attitudes. Believers who go to court (before) unbelievers are more concerned with revenge or gain than with the unity of the Body and the glory of Jesus Christ. Disputes between Christians should be settled by and among Christians.

Hello Hope Chest friends!
 
If you live near Orlando, I'd like to invite you to the February meeting of Near Him Home Educators.  I have been a member of this wonderful support group (formerly known as Northland Home Educators) since it started in 1994.  Along with veteran home school mom and speaker Terry True, I will be speaking on the topic of teaching Bible and nurturing our children's spiritual lives.  Terry's daughter Charis, who is 24, will also be sharing from her perspective.  There will also be a Question & Answer session as time permits.  (It is very much an honor for me to get to speak alongside Terry, who, as a support group leader, welcomed me into Grace Home Schoolers when we moved back to Florida in 1993.)
 
Near Him Home Educators meets at the Northland Church Annex, which is on Highway 17-92 just south of Dog Track Road.  (This is not at Northland's main Dog Track Road church campus.) 
 
The meeting is on Monday night, February 27, and starts at 7:15 PM.  Folks are encouraged to come earlier if they want to chat and get settled in.  All are welcome.  Childcare is not provided.
