My appt. today yielded less than desired results.
I'll be having additional surgery on 4/4. God is
in control. His will. His way. My faith.

Today's Chuckles
1. Need Pastor
2. Conductor Neville Marriner

Need Pastor
A young boy called the pastor of a local church and
asked him to come by to pray for his mother, who was
very ill with the flu.
The pastor knew the family and was aware they were
members of another church down the road. So the pastor
asked, "Shouldn't you be asking Brother Simon at your
church to come by to pray with your mom?"
The young boy replied, "Yeah, but we didn't want to
take the chance that he might catch whatever it is
that Mom has."

Every day do something that will inch you closer to
a better tomorrow. - Doug Firebaugh

Conductor Neville Marriner
Neville Marriner was leading the Boston Symphony at
Tanglewood, in Massachusetts. During the final chords
of the program many concert-goers would leave their
seats so they could beat the traffic.
When asked if he was irritated, Marriner reacted with
English aplomb. No, he said, he preferred to think that
he was being rewarded with "a standing evacuation."

Please pray for: Paula, Arlene, Paul, Donna, Heidi, Melinda.
