I had a wonderful visit over the 4th of July weekend
with my youngest son and his family. He is stationed
at Ft. Campbell.

Tattoo
I noted with astonishment a tattoo of a bluebird on the shoulder
of my 70-year-old patient when she was at my office for her annual
checkup.
She told me she had wanted one all her life, and she and her
16-year-old grandson had decided to go for birthday tattoos
together.
I asked her why she had waited so long.
"Until now," she replied, "I was afraid of what my mother would
say."

You can have anything you want, if you want it badly enough.
You can be anything you want to be, do anything you set out
to accomplish if you hold to that detsire with singleness of
purpose. - Abraham Lincoln

Missionary Kid
You know you're a missionary kid (MK) when . . .
~ You're an expert on the quality of airline travel.
~ You speak two languages but can't spell either.
~ You have a time zone map in your room.
~ You have friends from or in 29 different countries.
~ Your life story uses the phrase "Then we went to . . . " five or
more times.
~ You never take anything for granted.
~ Your family send you peanut butter and Kool-Aid for Christmas.
~ You watch National Geographic specials and recognize someone.
~ You see a movie set in a foreign country, and you know what the
nationals are really saying into the camera.
~ You realize what a small world it is, after all.

Please pray for: Alyssa, M, B, Judy, Tammi, Arlene, Jay, Lee, Steve, Jeff.
