I had my final aquatherapy session last night. My leg
is getting stronger. It is a long process.

Today's Chuckles
1. Say a Prayer
2. Old Doc Carver
------------------------------
Say a Prayer
Little Johnny and his family were having Sunday dinner at
his Grandmother's house. Everyone was seated around the
table as the food was being served.
When Little Johnny received his plate, he started eating
right away.
'Johnny! Please wait until we say our prayer.' said his
mother.
'I don't need to,' the boy replied.
'Of course, you do,' his mother insisted. 'We always say
a prayer before eating at our house.'
'That's at our house,' Johnny explained. 'But this is
Grandma's house and she knows how to cook!'

Few things in the world are more powerful than a positive
push - a smile. A word of optimism and hope, a 'you can do
it!' when things are tough. - Richard De Vos

Old Doc Carver
Old Dr. Carver still made house calls.
One afternoon, he was called to the
Tuttle house. Mrs. Tuttle was in terrible
pain. The doctor came out of the
bedroom a minute after
he’d gone in and asked Mr. Tuttle,
"Do you have a hammer"?
A puzzled Mr. Tuttle went to the
garage and returned with a hammer.
The doctor thanked him and went back
into the bedroom. A moment later,
he came out and asked,
"Do you have a chisel"?
Mr. Tuttle complied with the request.
In the next ten minutes, Dr. Carver asked
for and received a pair of pliers,
a screwdriver and a hacksaw.
The last request got to Mr. Tuttle.
He asked, "What are you doing to my wife"?
"Not a thing," replied old doc Carver.
"I can’t get my medical bag open."
