I’ve had a busy week. The highlight was spending time with my
son who is back stateside from S. Korea.Doc

Before setting off on a business trip to Tulsa, I called the hotel where
I'd be staying to see if they had a gym.
The hotel receptionist's sigh had a tinge of exasperation in it when
she answered. "We have over 300 guests at at this facility," she said.
"Does this 'Jim' have a last name?"

Change
I was sitting next to a young homeless man in rags, unshaved, flying hair,
and of course hungry. I asked him how he ended up like this.
He replied, "till 25 days back, I had a roof over my head, a soft bed, had my
clothes cleaned, had all the food I desired and could eat, I could go to the
gym, had TV, had free medical care. I could go to school - all paid."
I asked, "what happened? Alcohol, drugs?"
He replied, "25 days ago, I got out of the prison.”
