The weekend is nearly here. One of the things I'll
be doing is attending a special prayer service for
those in the Middle East. I have friends whose
parents are there. The street where the parents
live has been bombed at least 5 times, including
their neighbor's house.

Educational Trip
A fifth grader class was on an educational trip.
As they rode along in the school bus, the teacher
noticed that one boy was lying facedown in the
aisle of the bus with his hands over his eyes.
“Why are you lying in the aisle like that.”
“Well,” said the boy, “if you don’t see anything,
you don’t have to write anything.”

Fireworks
To close each day's activities in summer and on holidays
in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, a huge firewoKrks
display lights up the sky.
One night a small boy about three years old was perched on
his father's shoulder. The child sat mesmerized, aware only
of what was exploding in the heavens.
When the fireworks were over, the little boy looked up into
the sky again and said, "Thank you, God."
