Sunday started with Church. In the afternoon, there
was the Prayer Service for peae in the Middle East.
In the evening, I attended a presentation of 'Heaven's
Gates and Hell's Flames.

Separating Light from Dark
A father was reading the Bible to his little girl before
bedtime one night. He was on the first chapter of Genesis.
"In the beginning, the world was without form and void,"
the father read.
"And God said, 'Let there be light.'
And God separated the light from the dark."
"I know what happens next!" the little girl exclaimed
excitedly.
"What happens next?" asked the father, smiling.
The girl replied, "God did two loads of laundry.

Ship Shape
Michelle is the commander of a Coast Guard Cutter.
When she gave my husband Bob a tour of her ship, he was impressed
by the neatness of all decks.
"However, when Bob went to Michelle's house with her, he couldn't
believe the disorganization. 'Why is everything in its place on
your ship,' he asked, 'but your house is such a mess?'
"'My house,' Michelle said, 'does not take 30-degree rolls.'"
