The Christian life with the gifts and opportunities God gives us is a stewardship – a trust from God with precious responsibilities that call for faithfulness. But it is important to realize that faithfulness in the smaller responsibilities forms the basis for being entrusted with greater responsibilities. The Lord pointed to this basic principle in Luke 16:10, “The one who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much; and the one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.” How one handles the smaller responsibilities of life demonstrates character and the capacity for faithfulness in greater responsibilities. They serve as stepping stones for the privilege of serving in areas of greater responsibility.

Hello, Hope Chest Home School News friends!

I plan to send out a Christmas Treasury with articles and tidbits from
previous Hope Chest Christmas issues by tomorrow. I didn't want the
following information to get buried in it.

I am switching banks because my current one is closing and won't even
accept deposits. It will take me a little while to get my PayPal account
switched over to the new bank. So, if you have an order, let me know so
I can tell you how to proceed. Even if you are planning on sending a
check, letting me know ahead of time by e-mail will help me make sure I
have the books you want in stock. I will be picking up more copies of
Common Sense Excellence at the printer today, and also still have a few
Real Life Home School Mom in stock.

I'm off to the consignment store and the midwife in a little bit, but
I'll send the Christmas Treasury either today or tomorrow as I am able!
