We think it safer and more effective to look to other people to relieve our emptiness. In some cases, when love is sweet, we might even feel that we have found it. Sadly, this feeling misleads us. It reinforces our sinful idea that people might be the answer to our need, so we pursue them with an obsession. The love that we desire, however, can only be found in the living God.

What to do when school has been canceled for the second day in a row?  (please don't hear this as a complaint!)  Well, I could rewatch LOTR or the Star Wars movies...nope, did that over Christmas break.  I think that I'll listen to some old Altar Boys and The Call and join Wattpad to post a DR story that I've rediscovered in my old CD-Roms.  Oh, and did I mention rejoin the DR mailing list that I guess I wasn't subscribed to at this address and post all about it.  

Well, the story idea has been rolling around for about a decade...longer than that I am sure!  I had a few chapters completed and the remainder of the story outlined and rough drafted and ready for service.  

I put it up online, so if you too are trying to stay warm on the East Coast, then check it out.
If you happen to be in a warmer clime, you can check it out too.  I won't hold a grudge against you.
I'm hoping to occasionally update it...  

BTW, Joe...I'm not on Facebook any more, so if you could send me and email or call, I would like to try to reconnect one fine day.  🙂
I'm not sure who from the olden days is still on here so I won't embarrass myself and do any more shout-outs.
