Easter ideas, high school issue, pregnancy update, books, Africa

Dear Hope Chest friends,

I have changed my plans for the March issue because I realized that Easter is this month! On Saturday I plan to send out an Easter issue. If you have any easy ideas for other readers on how to celebrate this holiday with their children, please send them along. I'll include as many as I can.

Also, if you have any ideas to send for the high school issue, which has been delayed until April, please send those, too.

Thank you all for your prayers about my morning sickness and heartburn a little over two weeks ago. By the next morning, there was a very dramatic improvement. I am still getting sick every day or so, but not nearly as bad or as often. I am able to be much more productive as a result. I am now about 21 weeks pregnant. We had a sonogram two weeks ago to confirm the dates and check for any major problems, but couldn't determine the gender. The technician did not that the placenta is very close to the cervix (a mere 8 mm), though it is not placenta previa. We hope that this will not cause any complications. Everything else looked good. Thanks for your continued prayers. They mean a lot.

I did another very small print run of my books Common Sense Excellence and The Real Life Home School Mom. If you are interested in either one, let me know. The company which does my printing is kind enough to allow me to order only 5 at a time, so I keep my inventory quite small!

Finally, please pray for Pastor Headson Makazinga in Malawi as he prepares the annual Easter conference for several churches next week. Many of the people who will come, including widows and orphans, will walk for up to a day and a half to get there. Pray that God will pour out his blessings on these dear brothers and sisters in Malawi and Mozambique!
