Em/D???

this time.
Working on Cat's in the Cradle for Father's Day. The version I found online
that I like is in F but played in A (capo 8). All open chords or so I
think. It
calls for an Em/D in the verse. It is a passing chord but I am not sure
what to play. I have tried it xx0000 which sounds Ok, and I have just
played D
which sounds better to me but not quite. Is this a typo or is there a Em/D?

Found a Parker Fly last weekend. Played even better than I remembered. It
will be mine. O yes it will be mine. My wife dragged me out of the shop
kicking and screaming. It was the wrong color anyway.
