Greetings,
Once again I have been scheduled to bring a seminar at our National
Conference in London, ON, Canada. This year I want to focus on a
very basic level of Internet use within our conference by presenting
on issues to do with email. Many people, including our pastors and
directors, are very new to email and have not mastered even the
basics. The following list are some ideas I have come up with.
My request is for your assistance in identifying other issues related
to the use of email. Perhaps personal experience or resources that
you can point me toward. I am not an expert on any of these things
and any help would be appreciated.
how email works, (what actually happens when you send/receive an
email)
email attachments, files, text
email etiquette, smilies, etc.
email and viruses
email software, various programs & features, filtering, auto-reply,
email and chain letters, spamming, etc. (how to handle)
email and encryption technology
email as ministry, prayer, encouragement, news, inspiration
email lists, how lists work, some Christian email lists
handling email volume
