OK, brothers,As promised, I am starting Exodus this week in Sunday School and here are the copies of the lessons quite a few wanted. I’ll post them as I get them done, which should be weekly. There’s a total of 24 lessons.
Hopefully, as with Genesis, the formatting remained without messing up too much. Let me know if you have any problems. I don’t have Word, so I can’t check, but others I’ve converted for never had much problem.
For those who didn’t get the Genesis lessons, they are quite straight forward. I tried to leave enough room for your personal notes in the teacher’s copies. If not, you should be able to add more space. The student handouts are set with just enough room so you can print them out on one sheet of paper, double-sided. I usually hand them out the week before at the end of the current lesson so they can study and answer the questions during the week. Then they can bring them back and we can discuss the passage together. The teacher acts more as a facilitator. Our folks really enjoyed them.
For reading the passage, you can follow the suggestion of having different people read the parts, or what I do is play the Bible on tape (CD, DVD, whatever) and they can follow along. The reason I do it that way is I have the complete Dramatized Bible on Cassette. If has different actors, sound effects, background music, etc. It adds just a little bit more and brings it to life. (Also, folks who don’t read so well don’t feel pressured.)
Enjoy and I pray God’s blessings on you
Yours for others,
Bro. Bill Matthews
