FOOD FOR HUNGRY SOULS (Poem)

Food for Hungry Souls
(This is not a common type of poem, but it
may give some biblical "food" for thought.)
"I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food."
(Job 23:24)
God's Word is food for our souls.
While we receive, believe, and obey it, we live by it.
As we live by God's Word, His Word abides in us,
And we abide in His true Word, "the Word of Life".
God's Word is reproduced in us, and multiplied through us.
When we are sanctified through the Truth (God's Word),
The fine fruits from the Spirit of Truth abound.
These fruits of Truth are upon the tables of our lives
As a great feast for this famishing world of lost souls.
While these hungry souls see our true fruits,
and witness our fullness,
Either they will "taste and see" by faith
"that the Lord is good",
Or they will starve themselves by doubt
to eternal death.
