For Joy

Woe! Woe! Woe is me,
The sinful man am I,
Who cannot raise my eyes to see
The God who rules on high.

>From him the crowd their faces hid,
The silent, wounded Lamb;
He died for wrongs that scoffers did,
The sinless man I-AM.

We see who once were fully blind,
His will our full employ;
The Lord from heaven's throne inclined,
For joy, for boundless joy.
